Barbara
I am fortunate enough to be at least a fourth generation psychic-medium – maybe even more than that but the earliest family lore only goes back to my great-grandmother, Laura Monica West. Gramma Laura was that most classic of Americans – the daughter of an Irish immigrant servant mother and scion of the household she served.
Needless to say, Gramma’s mother lost her “position” once her condition became evident.
All of that is to say that I am by inheritance, Irish, a red-head, a survivor of difficult circumstances and a native New Yorker. A combination many people find to be more than slightly overwhelming. But I promise, I really am very nice!!
My method of working involves less work with predictive/interpretive cards or other divination media than it does straight channeling of spirit-guided messages. I work with my two spirit guides (or, better said, they work with me) to channel messages from deceased family members.
That being said, I have to advise that I cannot dictate from whom I will hear during any session. Those who have passed appear at their own time when they have something that needs to be heard by the person for whom I am reading.
So, if you come to me because you want to speak to your brother who passed away, I can’t promise you that you will be successful.
It is entirely possible that I will, instead, channel your Uncle Ernie who died in 1942 and whom you have never met but since he is the one with something to say – that’s who you will hear from.
Spirit, not I nor my client, controls who speaks through me.
As are all mediums, I am also psychic, so I am able to advise you on present and future matters, and this is where I use cards.
My favorite set of cards is the Druid Animal Oracle. Its images resonate with me on a level I find to be both stimulating of thought and feeling simultaneously.
I also find the images in this deck to be comforting in a way which I cannot fully express in words.
I look forward to meeting with you at Wild Iris and assisting you to continue with your own spiritual journey - whatever form it may take.
Peace and all blessings to you – Barbara
